Last day of school

Last day of sixth grade for Damon

Last day of third grade for Allie

Last day of first grade for Kyla

McKay slept through the pic but Carter and his hot pad wanted to sneak in.

Celebrating summer with cookies and ice cream after fhe!

End of school

It was a beautiful day for a dance festival this year. Allie's class did What Does the Fox Say and their masks were too cute.

Kyla's did Happy from Despicable Me 2, and the kids were all dressed up like minions.

Our lady quail started laying eggs and alie was very excited to find the first one. We are getting a couple eggs a day and it mix them in with our weekly scrambled eggs.

We have spent a lot of time at the baseball field watching Damon play. McKay thought he looked good in Allie's mask.

One day, the boys were practicing synchronized sleeping in the car.

I also wanted to document how glamorous working out is. This was a 40 minute workout in which I burned 400 calories. Pretty, huh?

Memorial Day

Damon graduated from NOVA (the old DARE program) and we went to watch. Carter didn't exactly love it. He proclaimed, about 20 minutes into it, "this is not a grajiation, this is just talking!"

Jeff and Damon have been getting their motorcycles ready for the summer, and I think Carter was feeling a little left out.

Kyla had her birthday during our family reunion, so we celebrated later. I love this picture of her, though. And I love my little 7-year old.

We did manage to have some cupcakes and a birthday song with all the family.

The reunion consisted of kickball, baseball, swimming and lots of family time. This is the only picture I got from he day. McKay wasn't there yet, but it's most of the kids.

We stopped at the cemetery on Sunday to remember Jeff's grandparents.
